FALL KICK-OFF

The 2008 Fall-Winter season will kick-off with special Rally Day celebrations on September 7! 

Following the 9:30am worship service, at 10:45am, students will gather with their new Christian Education classes to begin another year of learning and growing in their understanding and faith. Classes are available for all ages from preschool & kindergarten through high school and adults.

The adult class will spend the month of September discussing faith and life in the later years.  Plans, process and dreams about retirement will be shared both with the 'experts' (those in the midst of it) and those planning ahead for it in today's economy and culture.  Additionally, how God calls us to live in those later years will also come into discussion. This is a series of classes for ALL ages to attend.

Following the Christian Education time, a congregational picnic will be held at Stafford Lake Park.

NEW WOMEN'S STUDY

 Beginning in September, the women will start a new 9 month study entitled "The Hidden Hand of God." The study will focus on wisdom stories in the books of Ruth, Daniel and Esther. 

Women's Bible Study groups meet at the church on Tuesday and Thursday mornings the second week of each month, and at a member's home the second Tuesday evening of the month.
